President greets the nation on Vaisakhi

New Delhi, Apr 13 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday greeted the nation on the eve of Vaisakhi.

In his message, Mukherjee said: "On the joyous occasion of Vaisakhi, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens, especially to those who are engaged in cultivation and farming."

"May this celebration of nature’s bounty inspire us to strengthen our contribution to the nation’s prosperity and remind us of the invaluable service rendered to the nation by our farmers and agricultural labourers,” he said.
