President Mukherjee greets people on Milad-un-Nabi

New Delhi, Dec 24 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday greeted the people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.

President Mukherjee said, "Greetings & good wishes to all my fellow countrymen in India & abroad on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi."

He also urged the people to be more compassionate, the lessons taught by the Prophet himself.

"May message of compassion, tolerance & service to humanity preached & practiced by the Holy Prophet inspire & guide us."
