President Pranab Mukherjee wishes ahead of National Day of Cameroon

New Delhi, May 19 (IBNS): Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Cameroon on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Paul Biya, the President of the Republic of Cameroon, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings to you, the Government and the people of the Republic of Cameroon on the occasion of your National Day."

"Despite the geographical distance between us, India and Cameroon have always enjoyed close and friendly relations. I am confident that our flourishing, multi-faceted relations will grow from strength to strength in the coming years," he said.

The Indian President further said: "May I take this opportunity to convey our good wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Cameroon."
