Protesting Vyapam scam, Congress workers clash with police in Bhopal

Bhopal, Jul 23 (IBNS) Police shot tear gas shells as Congress workers took to the streets in the capital of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday and pelted stones protesting against the Bhyapam scam.
The Congress has been demanding Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's ouster after he came under fire for being involved in the scam.
 
The protesters alleged that police lathicharged them during the agitation.
 
The Vyapam scam has emerged as a big issue at the national level especially after it left on its trail a series of mysterious deaths.
