Puducherry CM sought Rs 200 crore aid from central govt.
Karaikal, Dec 7 (IBNS) The Puducherry government will ask the central government for a rehabilitation package of Rs. 200 crore, after the union territory suffered extensive damage due to the floods that hit parts of Southern India, according to media reports.
Speaking to reporters here, N Rengasamy, the Chief Minister of Puducherry told them about the damage the union territory sustained. He also visited flood hit areas.
The CM also interacted with the victims.
