Punjab: Three suspected smugglers with Pakistani sim cards arrested

Chandigarh, Jan 4 (IBNS) Three people, with Pakistani sim cards, were arrested from Punjab's Mohali city on Monday, reports said.

A Pakistani double-magazine automatic stengun was also seized from the attackers.

All the three are suspected to be smugglers, reports said.

They have been identified as Gurjant Singh , Sandip Singh and Jatinder Singh.

Mohali SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar  was quoted as saying by The  Tribune: "The miscreants are close acquaintances of notorious gangster Jaipal, who is wanted in a number of robbery, dacoity and smuggling cases."
