Rahul Gandhi a rising new star : Shatrughan Sinha

| | Nov 21, 2015, at 04:12 pm
Patna, Nov 21 (IBNS) BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha, who has been spurring with the party bigwigs since the state assembly elections, has created another ripple by exalting Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi as a "rising new star".

He also called the Bihar election results a "victory of democracy."

In tweets, sent out before Nitish Kumar was sworn in on Friday as the Chief Minister of Bihar, the BJP lawmaker also said he was a friend and admirer of RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Kumar.

"It has been the victory of democracy. I wish the new government led by Nitish babu, Laluji and rising star Rahul Gandhi great success.

"Will miss the ceremony, but Nitish babu & Laluji, I remain a well-wisher, admirer and friend... and remember, once a friend, always a friend," he said.
