Guwahati, Apr 10 (IBNS): Poachers have killed another one horned rhinoceros in Assam's Kaziranga National Park on Friday and shopped off its horn, officials said.

Forest guards found a body of dehorned female rhino with bullet injuries on it, near Bherbheri forest camp under Kohora range office, inside the National Park on Friday morning.

"Poachers killed the rhino and manged to flee with its horn, " a park official said.

Poachers killed ten rhinos in the state including nine in Kaziranga in this year so far.

Meanwhile, Assam forest minister Atuwa Munda had instructed the forest officials to take stern actions against poachers and protect the wild animals.
