New Delhi, June 20 (IBNS) A case of sexual harassment has been registered against an assistant professor of Delhi's prestigious St Stephen's college after a student filed a complaint with the police.
The student, doing  a post-doctoral thesis at the college, alleged on Thursday  that the assistant professor has been harassing her for two years.

Reports said the student also told police that she had taken her complaint to the college principal last December, who allegedly declined to accept it and asked her to take the complaint back.

She  claimed that due to the harassment, her academic dissertation was affected.

Police said it will summon the college authorities and seek records.
