Shiv Sena blames PM Modi for Bihar loss
New Delhi, Nov 8 (IBNS) Moments after the Grand Alliance of Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal-United and RJD showed signs of decimating the BJP alliance in the Bihar polls, NDA ally Shiv Sena has started gunning for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Sena blamed the PM for the loss in Bihar, according to reports.
While Narendra Modi and his men have fared poorly in Bihar, the party aims at corrective measures.
BJP leader Ram Madhav, speaking to NDTV, said, "The loss will not affect Narendra Modi's image, but we are looking at corrective measures."
"We want to do well in the next election,"Madhav said.
As the counting of the votes progressed , the Nitish Kumar-Lalu Prasad Yadav alliance is leading in as many as 151 seats of the 243-member house.
The NDA, led by Narendra Modi's BJP, is leading in 82 seats so far.
