Sri Lankan Air Chief calls on Indian Air Chief

New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS) : Commander of the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) Air Marshal Gagan Pulasthi Bulathsinghala called on the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha on Monday.

During their meeting, the Air Chiefs discussed matters of mutual interest aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two Air Forces.

During his official four-day visit, Air Marshal Bulathsinghala is expected to visit the Officers' Training Academy at Gaya, the Institute of Aerospace Medicine at Bangalore and Air Force Station Jalahalli. 

He would be interacting with the personnel of the SLAF who are undergoing training at these establishments. 

Earlier on 26 July, the SLAF Chief had visited the National Defence College at New Delhi, of which he is an alumnus.

The visit is aimed at fostering goodwill and is a part of the ongoing process towards enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
