New Delhi, Dec 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday made a strong pitch for 'Start Up India, Stand Up India' initiative during his radio address 'Mann Ki Baat' and informed that the government is coming out with an action plan on start ups on Jan 16.
"During my address from the Red Fort on 15th August, I had briefly touched upon 'Start Up India, Stand Up India'. This has brought a huge opportunity for youth," he said during the 15th edition of his radio address.

"On 16th January we are coming out with an action plan on start ups. Universities and youth will be connected with this programme," said he.

Modi noted that the talents of Indian youth is not restricted to a few cities.

"All across India, youngsters have talent and they need opportunities," he announced.

This was Modi's last radio address in 2015, where he also urged citizens for a cleaner India to make the country an attractive tourist destination.

"There is indeed a need to pay special attention to cleanliness at our tourist destinations," said he.
