Subramanian Swamy is the unofficial spokesperson of the PM: Congress

New Delhi, June 22 (IBNS): Attacking BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on a day when he trained his gun on India's chief economic adviser Arvind Subramanian, the Congress said he is the unofficial spokesperson of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is used for ridiculing his own party men and opposition.

Congress leader Randeep S Surjewala was quoted as saying by the party which tweeted: "Subramanian Swamy is the unofficial spokesperson of the PM; Modi uses him to ridicule his own party men and opposition."

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday said the government has confidence on Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian.

"The government has full confidence on  Chief Economic Adviser," Jaitley told media.

Reacting to Jaitley's remarks, Randeep S Surjewala tweeted: "Mr.Jaitley disagrees with Swamy & PM acts on Swamy's aid & advice.Feud in the Govt? Good cop-bad cop plan to bring in some more incompetence."

Subramanian Swamy has asked that Arvind Subramanian be sacked as the latter is not working in India's interests.


"Who said to US Cong on 13/3/13 the US should act against India to defend US Pharmaceuticals interests? Arvind Subramanian MoF !! Sack him!!!"Subramanian Swamy tweeted.
