Sunanda murder: Shashi Tharoor likely to undergo lie-detector
New Delhi, June 30 (IBNS): Adding fresh trouble to Shashi Tharoor, the Congress leader is likely to undergo a lie-detector test in connection with the murder case of his late wife Sunanda Pushkar.
According to reports, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will move an application in Delhi's Patiala House court for the polygraph test.
Six people have already undergone lie-detector test as part of probe in the murder case.
The 52-year-old woman was found dead in a suite at the Leela Palace hotel in South Delhi on January 17, 2014.
The incident took place a day after her Twitter spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar over an alleged affair with her husband, Shashi Tharoor, who was then a Union Minister.
