Kolkata, Dec 24 (IBNS):  Telangana chief minister and TRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and discussed the issue of forming an alternative front before the Lok Sabha polls.

The meeting took place just a day after Rao met  Biju Janata Dal chief and Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar.

Speaking to the media, Rao said after meeting Banerjee: "Our dialogue will continue, very shortly we will come out with a concrete plan."

"Non-Congress front is my mission. I will continue my effort. This is not a small matter. Wait for the right time. The dialogue continues," he said.

KCR arrived in Kolkata after his TRS party registered a thumping victory in the Assembly polls held in Telangana recently.

He is expected tomeet Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati and Samajwafi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav in the next couple of days.
