TMC Lok Sabha MP Saumitra Khan joins BJP
Kolkata, Jan 9 (IBNS): Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls which might witness a tough battle between the two political outfits, Trinamool Congress leader Saumitra Khan on Wednesday joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
Khan is a TMC Lok Sabha MP from Bishnupur.
He joined the party in the presence of BJP leader Mukul Roy.
Roy was himself a TMC leader in the past.
He joined the BJP in 2017.
