Two men who allegedly killed security personnel shot dead in Telengana

Nalgonda, Telengana, Apr 4 (IBNS) Two persons, who had allegedly killed a constable and a home guard on Friday were killed in an encounter in Nalgonda District in Telangana on Saturday morning.

The encounter took place at Atmakur in Nalgonda when they were reportedly trying to escape the sealed state borders.

Two police personnel - a Circle inspector and Sub-inspector - have also been injured in the encounter reports quoted  Director General of Police.Anurag Sharma as saying.

Police had been on the trail of the culprits after they  reportedly opened fire on a police team who were conducting a routine check of vehicles in Suryapet town shortly after mid-night on Wednesday. 

Two security personnel were killed and two injured in the incident.

Special police teams were formed to trace the culprits, who the police believe, belonged to Odisha.
