Fatehpur, UP, June 14 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a minor girl was allegedly burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district on Saturday after her father stopped intruders from plucking mangoes from his orchard.
Her father,  Shivbhushan, alleged that the incident happened after he stopped few intruders from plucking mangoes from his orchard in the district's Kheshaan village on Wednesday.

On Saturday, while Shivbhushan was away in the the fields and no other family members were present in the house, the same intruders entered their house, thrashed one of his daughters and then allegedly set her on fire.

"They entered my house and brutally thrashed my daughter. Then, to make it look like a suicide, they poured kerosene on her and burnt her alive," Shivbhushan was quoted as saying by NDTV.

A case has been filed to probe the matter.

According to reports, the father has accused four people for murdering his daughter in his complaint.

The accused are reportedly booked under Section 302 (murder) and 452 (House-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code.
