Vote BJP for free vaccine, riot-free Uttar Pradesh: PM Modi

| @indiablooms | Feb 10, 2022, at 10:51 pm

Saharanpur/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged the people of Uttar Pradesh to vote for the BJP to ensure that everyone continues to get free anti-COVID-19 vaccine and so that the country's most populous state remains riot-free.

Addressing an election rally here ahead of the second phase of the Assembly elections, even as voting went on in the first phase, the Prime Minister accused the opposition of fielding criminals as candidates and alleged that earlier non-BJP governments had no vision because they were corrupt.

"If you had voted for those in dynastic politics (the last time), many would have died without the benefit of Covid vaccine," the Prime Minister said.

He said it was necessary for the Yogi Adityanath government to continue in Uttar Pradesh for the PM Kisan Yojana to continue.

"When the BJP returns to power, it will tackle the problem of low prices (of farm produce) and closed mills that hurt sugarcane farmers," he said.

Investors' confidence has improved in Uttar Pradesh now, Modi said.

In an obvious attack on the Samajwadi Party, Modi said, "The riot-loving parties have issued tickets to the Saharanpur riot mastermind and all kinds of criminals."

On the contrary, Dalits, backwards and people of Uttar Pradesh have benefitted from free rations provided by the BJP government during the COVID-19 pandemic, he said.

"People have decided to vote for those who will take UP to new heights of development. People have decided to vote for those who will keep UP riot free."

A BJP government is necessary, he said, so that people continue to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

"And a BJP government is necessary so that people continue to get free vaccines."

The Prime Minister underlined that it was the BJP which has saved Muslim women from Triple Talaq laws.

"And when these women praised Modi, the opposition could not stand it."

"They are misleading Muslim sisters so that they remain backward," he said. "Our government is standing with every victim Muslim woman."
