Actor Aditya Pancholi gets one year imprisonment for assaulting neighbour

Mumbai, Nov 6 (IBNS): Actor Aditya Pancholi has been sentenced to one year jail by a local court in Mumbai for assaulting his neighbour.

The assault case dates back to 2005, which was filed by the actor's neighbour over a car parking issue.

According to reports, Pancholi hit his neighbour Pratik Pasrani over a car parking issue at their building and fractured his nose.

The local court released Pancholi on a bail of Rs.12,000 after convicting him.

Pancholi has been sentenced under IPC Section 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt). He has been also fined for an amount of Rs 20,000.

The actor, who denied all charges, told The Times Of India later that he planned to file an appeal.
