Actor Shri Vallabh Vyas passes away

Jaipur, Jan 8 (IBNS): Actor  Shri Vallabh Vyas passed away after suffering from prolonged illness in Jaipur city on Sunday.

He was 60.

He had worked in several TV serials and Bollywood movies in his career.

He is better remembered for his performance in director Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2001 release Lagaan.

Vyas had worked in several other movies like Sarfarosh (1999), Shool (1999) and Dil Bole Hadippa (2009).

The actor is survived by his wife Shobha Vyas and two daughters.

Indian filmmaker Ashoke Pandit tweeted: "Sad to know about the demise of a great actor #ShriVallabhVyas. Will never forget the great times we shared while working together #RIP."
