Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of filmmaker Raja Chanda's upcoming Bengali film 'Biye Bibhrat' gives a glimpse of a love triangle, often comical, involving actors Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay and young Lahoma Bhattacharya.

The trailer begins with Sakya (played by Abir), a musician-YouTuber, meeting Mohor (played by Lahama) in an arranged marriage scenario.

Fascinated by Mohor's unrequited romance with her music teacher Chondromouli (played by Parambrata), Sakya comes up with elaborate schemes to unite the two.

But the twist in the plot comes when Sakya too falls in love with Mohor in the process.

Speaking of the story, Abir says, "After a long time, I was offered a fresh idea which I liked. We all have some ideas regarding marriage. We have shared some experiences through this story."

Lahoma, who plays the love interest of Abir and Parambrata in the film, made her acting debut with 'Raavan' starring alongside Tollywood superstar Jeet.

"I had a great experience shooting for this film. I enjoyed working with Abir-da and Param-da. The script was very unique. 'Biye Bibhrat' is more special because it's my second film," Lahoma said.

Apart from acting, Parambrata, who is producing 'Biye Bibhrat', wrote the story of the film.

In conversation with IBNS, Parambrata shared that he altered some parts of the story, which he first thought of in 2015-2016.

"I thought of making changes to the script considering our evolution not just in terms of physical age but mental too. The fundamentality of the film has, however, remained the same," Parambrata said.

The film is set to be released on July 14.
