K-pop sensation Jisoo has left the internet abuzz after expressing her wish to work in the Hindi film industry, popularly known as Bollywood.

In an interview with India Today, Jisoo made the remark while promoting her new series Boyfriend on Demand along with her co-actor Seo In-guk.

When asked whether they would be interested in featuring in a Bollywood project centred on AI romance, Seo said, “If I’m given the opportunity, I would absolutely love to do it.”

Jisoo quickly added, “I hope you can, you know, please look out for us. We’ll be there.”

Following their remarks, netizens—especially Korean pop culture fans in India—urged celebrated filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and S. S. Rajamouli to cast them in future projects.

Jisoo debuted in 2016 as the lead vocalist and visual of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, alongside Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.

She gained global popularity through hit songs like DDU-DU DDU-DU, Kill This Love, and How You Like That.

Jisoo made her solo debut in 2023 with the album Me, whose lead single Flower became a global hit.

She also ventured into acting with the Korean drama Snowdrop.
