Imran Khan's ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith marries financier Cameron O'Reilly

Jemima Goldsmith has tied the knot for a second time, marrying multi-millionaire financier Cameron O'Reilly, according to a confirmation from her family.

Goldsmith, 52, was previously married to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The couple were together for around nine years before divorcing in 2004 and share two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim.

O'Reilly, 62, is an Irish-Australian businessman and financier. The couple are believed to have exchanged vows at an elegant ceremony over the weekend.

Jemima's family celebrates wedding

The wedding was confirmed publicly by Jemima Goldsmith's family.

Jemima Jones, the wife of Goldsmith's brother Ben, shared a picture with her husband on Instagram and celebrated the occasion.

"Celebrating Jemima and Cameron's wedding, with my favourite date, what a happy day," she wrote.

Goldsmith and O'Reilly are believed to have met through their shared interest in films and documentaries.

Who is Jemima Goldsmith?

Goldsmith is a filmmaker, writer and producer and is the founder of production company Instinct Productions.

She has written and produced several films and television projects, including the cross-cultural romantic comedy What's Love Got to Do with It?, directed by Shekhar Kapur.

She has also worked as a writer and editor for publications including The New Statesman and Vanity Fair and has frequently spoken publicly on human rights issues.

Goldsmith and Imran Khan's marriage

Goldsmith married Imran Khan in 1995. Their marriage lasted around nine years before they divorced in 2004.

The former couple have two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, who are British citizens.

Although their marriage ended more than two decades ago, Goldsmith has continued to speak publicly about issues concerning her former husband, particularly his imprisonment and his health.

Jemima speaks out over Imran Khan's imprisonment

Last month, Goldsmith used social media to voice concerns over Khan's incarceration in Pakistan and to support the campaign being led by their sons.

Calling the situation a "human-rights emergency", she highlighted Khan's longstanding connections with Britain and his sons' inability to visit him.

She said Sulaiman and Kasim had been forced to watch their father's health deteriorate from thousands of miles away and alleged that they had been prevented from visiting him, denied visas and threatened publicly by government officials.

Goldsmith also pointed to Khan's education at Oxford University, his cricket career in England and his charitable work in Pakistan.

Sons campaign for their father's health

Sulaiman and Kasim have publicly campaigned for better access to their father and raised concerns over his health while he remains imprisoned in Rawalpindi.

Goldsmith has backed their efforts, saying the issue goes beyond Pakistani politics and should be viewed through a human-rights lens.

Her marriage to O'Reilly comes as she continues her career in filmmaking and advocacy, while remaining publicly vocal about the situation involving her former husband and their two sons.
