Mumbai, May 22 (IBNS): One of Deepika Padukone's closest friends stays in New York in US.

Her friend messaged her complaining about how she is unable to watch Piku as tickets were not available. The friend shared how she tried to watch the film over the weekend but did not get tickets. She even tried to pre-book tickets for Monday but tickets were not available.

Piku has been doing exceptionally well in the overseas market but Deepika did not expect such a call.

Deepika was elated on hearing this and quite enjoyed her friend’s banter and she shared the news with her distribution team.

Deepika also requested them to check if they can arrange tickets for her friend in the U.S.

The distribution team made a few calls and got tickets arranged.

Deepika called her friend and asked her to collect the tickets.

Her friend was very surprised and elated. She never expected this coming her way.
