Deepika to act opposite Tom Cruise?

New Delhi, May 5 (IBNS) After landing her first role in Hollywood opposite actor Vin Diesel in action flick XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, actress Deepika Padukone is on a high as she reportedly auditioned for a role opposite Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise.

A report in TOI stating sources said that the leggy star auditioned for a pivotal role in the popular "The Mummy" franchise opposite actor Tom cruise. However, nothing has been finalised as of yet.

Earlier it was rumoured that another Bollywood actress, Huma Qureshi, had auditioned for the role.
