Kolkata/IBNS: The first glimpse or the pre-tease of Bengali film superstar Dev's upcoming release, Raghu Dakat, was unveiled by the makers on Sunday.

Brought to life by SVF Entertainment and Dev Entertainment Ventures, this release promises an experience rooted in history, wrapped in rebellion, and told with a larger-than-life vision.

Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, the Bengali film traces the extraordinary journey of Raghu Dakat; a name etched in folklore and fire.

Set against the backdrop of a restless colonial Bengal, his story is shaped by the many injustices of the time, exploitative indigo trade, both spoken and silent, all of which only added fuel to the legend in the making.

Along with Dev who plays the titular role,  Anirban Bhattacharya, Roopa Ganguly, Sohini Sarkar, Idhika Paul play significant roles.

The film will be released this Durga Puja.
