Dev's 'Bagha Jatin' to get Bengali and Hindi theatrical releases on Oct 20

Kolkata/IBNS: Dev Entertainment Ventures on Friday announced that their much awaited upcoming Bengali movie Bagha Jatin will also be simultaneously released in Hindi in the pan India market.

The Hindi poster of the film was launched on social media platforms.

Directed by Arun Roy and starring superstar Dev, this film is set to take you on a captivating journey into the life of one of India's greatest revolutionaries.

Bagha Jatin tells the extraordinary tale of Jatindranath Mukherjee, a prominent freedom fighter and a key figure in India's struggle for independence during the early 20th century. He was christened Bagha Jatin because he fought with a tiger in his bare hands. The movie sheds light on his fearless spirit, unwavering determination and unwavering love for his country.

The decision to present this inspiring story in Hindi opens the doors for millions of viewers across the nation to experience the heroic journey of Bagha Jatin. The poster captures the essence of the film, featuring Dev in a powerful and striking pose, surrounded by elements that symbolize the struggle for independence.

This period film also features actress Sudipta Chakraborty in a major role while Sreeja Dutta is paired opposite Dev as Indubala, his on-screen wife. Bagha Jatin has Gopi Bhagat as the DOP and Nilayan Chatterjee has composed the music for the film.

The movie will be released across multiplexes and single screens during Durga Puja on October 20.
