Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood superstar Jeet on Sunday unveiled the second poster of his upcoming sci-fi comedy film, Boomerang.

Apart from Jeet, the poster also features actress Rukmini Maitra.

The poster showcases double trouble where Jeet and Rukmini are in quirky, futuristic attire, which is set against a backdrop that teases elements of time travel and advanced technology, setting the stage for a unique cinematic experience with the elements of romance and comedy set on the background of a futuristic plot.

With Boomerang, Jeet ventures into the sci-fi comedy genre, a relatively uncharted territory in Bengali films.

The film, which is directed by Sauvik Kundu, is expected to blend humor with a science fiction plot, offering a fresh take on both genres.

The film, which is  produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani and Amit Jumrani on the banner of Jeetz Filmworks Private Limited, is slated to release on June 7, 2024.
