Makers release intense poster of upcoming Bengali movie Mahalaya

Kolkata, Jan 5 (IBNS): First poster of upcoming Bengali movie Mahalaya was released by its makers on Saturday.

The poster is featuring actors Subhasish Mukherjee and Jisshu Sengupta.

The movie is directed by Soumik Sen.
The poster is looking intense as the two actors could be seen with a newspaper article in the background.

From the poster it seems that the movie may trace the events of the life of iconic Bengali broadcaster Birendra Krishna Bhadra and his still popular All India Radio show Mahisasuramardini.

Mahisasuramardini is broadcast by the national radio channel on the day of Mahalaya, ahead of Durga Puja celebrations, every year.
