Pakistani entertainers Mahira Khan, Adeel Hussain, Bilal Abbas and Iqra Aziz have joined hands to ask their fans to continue taking safety measures as the nation battles the third wave of the COVID-19 virus.

The Ministry of National Health Services issued the video message “United we fight COVID-19” in which the acclaimed stars feature, and asked “people to stay home, stay safe,” according to The News International.

“Let’s defeat corona together,” said the Humsafar actor in the video posted on Twitter.

“Let us vow to use face masks and sanitize our hands regularly,” added Pakistani actors, Hussain and Abbas, in their message to the people.

“Maintain a six feet distance with each other and avoid going to crowded places,” urged Aziz, a popular television actress.

All of them urged people to take more safety precautions.

The surge in the positive cases has set alarm bells ringing in the country. So far, the country has reported 640,988 cases and over 14,000 deaths.
