Priyanka Chopra celebrates 33rd b'day with close friends
Mumbai, July 18 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has received numerous accolades, including a National Film Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Awards in four categories, turned 33 years on Saturday.
According to reports, the 'Desi girl' of B-town celebrated her birthday bash with her close friends.
Co-stars and friends from the industry like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut were spotted at the party.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha who could not make it to the party tweeted: "Happpppy birthday @priyankachopra! Hope your surprise party really surprised u 
sorry couldn't make it, would've loved to see ur reaction!"
Actor Hrithik Roshan wished the birthday girl posting: "Happy birthday beautiful girl. Stay wild stay free. All my love. @priyankachopra have a POWER filled year."
Winner of the Miss World 2000 and Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty—Asia & Oceania pageants, Priyanka made her debut in Bollywood with the film 'The Hero'.
She then followed it with the box-office hits Andaaz and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
Priyanka subsequently earned wide critical praise for the role of a seductress in the 2004 thriller Aitraaz.
By 2006, she had established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema with starring roles in the highly successful films Krrish and Don.
After a series of unsuccessful films, she received critical acclaim for the role of a troubled model in the 2008 drama Fashion, which marked a significant turning point in her career.
The actress later gained recognition for her versatility in portraying a range of unconventional characters, including a feisty Marathi woman in the 2009 caper thriller Kaminey, a serial killer in the 2011 neo-noir 7 Khoon Maaf, an autistic woman in the 2012 romantic comedy Barfi!, and a boxer in the 2014 biographical sports drama Mary Kom.
Besides acting in films, she participates in stage shows, and has hosted the third season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
The multi-talented personna has written columns for newspapers.
She released her first single "In My City" in 2012. Her second single "Exotic" debuted in 2013, and charted in countries such as the United States and Canada.
Priyanka is noted for her philanthropic activities, and was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights in 2010. She promotes various causes such as environment, girls education, women empowerment and women's rights, and is particularly vocal about women's issues, including safety, and gender equality.
She was last seen in Dil dhadakne Do and will share screen space with Ranveer Singh in Bajirao Mastani.
