Kolkata/IBNS: Director Raj Chakraborty’s latest film, Shontaan, is set to make its digital premiere on Hoichoi on February 28.

Bringing a deeply moving family drama to a wider audience, the film stars veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty in a powerful role, alongside Anashua Majumdar, Subhashree Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, and Kharaj Mukherjee.

Hoichoi has unveiled the official poster of Shontaan, heightening anticipation among audiences ahead of its highly awaited digital premiere. 

Shontaan is a compelling drama that delves into themes of familial bonds, abandonment, and the pursuit of justice.

The film follows Saradindu Bose, played by Mithun Chakraborty, an elderly father abandoned by his son Indranil, played by Ritwick Chakraborty, as he battles for his dignity and rights.

Directed by Raj Chakraborty, with music composed by Jeet Gannguli, Shontaan is a poignant exploration of family, where blood ties are tested against the harsh realities of life.

The story unfolds as a moving journey, delving into the intricate dynamics of a parent-son relationship and leaving a lasting emotional impact.
