We have to earn our living by looking good : Prosenjit
"For me and people like us, we have to earn our living by looking good and showing our face , so looking in shape is always important," a candid Prosenjit tells IBNS at the launch of a revamped salon-spa-therapy-grooming outlet in the city.
"Since we have to shoot in different and extreme weather conditions and for hours in glaring light and heat, there is possibility of our skin and hair suffering damages. The advice of modern day therapists are hence of great use," Prosenjit says at the launch of new-look 'Astique - The Complete Body Studio."
He says while earlier typical Bengali herbal method like applying 'mitti' were the only way being used by people like him, the present day skin, hair therapies have opened avenues and provided holistic solutions.
Also people like him can now spend some time at the detox chamber after a hard day's shooting to shed the stress and toil and feel refreshed and rejuvenated at such outlets coming up in city, Prosenjit says.
Antara Bose, one of the two partners of Astique, says, “The growing need of both men and women today is to look and feel good and this prompted us to revamp Astique, set up in 2014, tailored for personal grooming, skin and hair care.
Antara and her partner Pooja Kumar, are the two women entrepreneurs having shifted from so-called men's domain profession like real estate to do something where they can use their creativity more.
"Our aim is to provide a 360 degree solution, a one-stop clinic, using cutting edge equipment, the best consultants and above all a holistic approach. And yes being women we think helped us to look into every nitty-gritty and make the service more personalised," Antara says.
