Zareen Khan's 1921 earns Rs. 1. 56 crores on opening day

Mumbai, Jan 13 (IBNS): Bollywood horror movie 1921, which released on Friday, has earned Rs. 1.56 crores on the opening day.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#1921 Fri ₹ 1.56 cr. India biz."

1921 is a Bollywood horror film, produced by Vikram Bhatt, under his banner of Lone Ranger Productions.

It is the fourth film in the 1920 horror film series.

The film stars Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra in lead roles.

Urging her fans to book tickets of the movie, Zareen tweeted: "The multiplex impasse on #1921 has been resolved. Grab your tickets from your nearest theatre for the afternoon show NOW ! #1921 #InCinemasNow."
