Sara Ali Khan gets emotional at Golden Temple, Ayushmann Khurrana by her side

Sara and actor Ayushmann Khurrana visited the Sikh shrine to offer prayers amid promotional activities for their upcoming film, Udta Teer.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Sara was seen getting emotional inside the Golden Temple, with Ayushmann by her side.

The actor also shared a picture from their visit on social media on the occasion of Dussehra.

The duo captioned their collaborative post, "Happy Dussehra. Wishing everyone love, luck and laughter."

The visit comes as the actors gear up for the release of Udta Teer, a Hindi spy-comedy that combines espionage, mistaken identity, action and humour.

The film brings Sara and Ayushmann together again following their earlier collaboration in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.

What is Udta Teer about?

The story revolves around Bilal, played by Ayushmann, a Pakistani operative who is sent to India.

Following an explosion, he suffers memory loss and wakes up believing he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer.

Sara plays a fellow officer who reinforces his mistaken identity by telling him that his parents were Indian patriots who died for the country.

Bilal subsequently turns against his former associates and begins dismantling Pakistani spy networks before a new terrorist threat draws him into a dangerous mission.

Udta Teer is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
