Kolkata/IBNS: 128 dashing cricketers were picked on Sunday night to represent the eight franchises' women teams of Bengal Pro T20 League.

Led by eight marquee ladies the teams had been picked by a panel of selectors and Bengal coaches and kept in sealed envelopes. Representatives of the eight franchises picked one envelope each through a lucky draw that completed their eight set teams.

Talking about this, CAB President Snehasish Ganguly said, "The idea that this league will have both men and women’s teams shows the importance we give to women’s cricket here in Bengal. We have produced legends of the game in the past and we are confident of giving India more stars for the future.
