Aamir Khan to sing National Anthem at opening day of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi
Vizag, Jan 29 (IBNS): The much awaited season 3 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi is all set to kick off on Saturday with a host of star attractions present at the glittering opening day of the second most televised sport in the country.
All roads will lead to the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag, which would be hosting a power packed first leg of the season. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu will also be present at the opening day of the league in Vizag.
The opening day will witness actor Aamir Khan lend a gloriously sombre touch to the celebration through a patriotic rendition of the Indian National Anthem. While Star Sports Pro Kabaddi has a blend of Indian and International players, the essence of Indianness in Kabaddi is emphasised through a contagious energy of patriotic celebration through rendition of the national anthem.
This special initiative will be followed with renditions by South superstar Rana Daggubati, and Bollywood diva Aditi Rao Hydari, across the other three days of the caravan. The atmosphere at the opening day will also be lit up through an electrifying performance by V-Company, a group of 30 talented dancers who recently won a dance reality show – Dance Plus.
The Financial capital of Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam (Vizag) will see Telugu Titans take on the defending champions U Mumba in the League opener match.
The caravan will see further exciting duals over the next three days like the defending champions U Mumba taking on the champions of inaugural season Jaipur Pink Panthers on Sunday.
