AFC General Secretary suspended
Kuala Lumpur, May 14 (IBNS) Asian Football Confederation General Secretary Dato' Alex Soosay has been suspended by the AFC following media allegations which have recently surfaced concerning a case in 2012, officials said.
"A video statement conducted as part of a FIFA investigation was passed to media recently and the AFC has now been able to verify its authenticity," AFC website said in a statement.
AFC Deputy General Secretary, Dato’ Windsor John, will take over the role on an ad interim basis whilst an internal investigation is conducted.
