Ahaan Nath takes a slender halfway lead at the IGU Feeder & Sub Junior Tour Final 2016

Kolkata, Oct 26 (IBNS): Mumbai’s Ahaan Nath took a slender one stroke halfway lead after a tough nine-over 81 on the day and a two-day total of 161 at the IGU Feeder & Sub Junior Tour Final being played here at the Par-72 Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

Jay Vora shot a second consecutive nine-over 81 to trail Ahaan by one stroke and is in clear second over Aryan Agarwal, a further stroke behind in third.

Overnight leader Sreenjoy Majumder slipped down the leaderboard with a disappointing 85 to be tied for fourth with Milan Machaiah with a gross of 164.

Hargobind Singh will join the fourth placed duo in the second to last group after carding a two-day total of 165.

Two players, Milan Machaiah and Md. Rohit, brought in the best cards of the day of eight over par 80 which helped both of them surge on the leaderboard.

Milan moved from eighth place to tied fourth while Md. Rohit took Milan’s overnight 8th place from a much lower overnight position of 17th.

The Boys Category C event kicked off today and it was Biren Kumar and Tushar Pannu who were tied at the top of the leaderboard with identical eight-over 80s.

Aryan Kaila and Ananjan Kaushik are tied third two strokes behind at 82. Milind Soni completes the top 5 a further stroke behind.
