Asia Cup: UAE opts to ball, restrict Sri Lanka for 129 runs

Dhaka, Feb 25 (IBNS) Winning the toss, UAE restricted the Sri Lankans for 129 runs for the loss of 8 wickets , here on Thursday.

Sri Lanka had a good opening partnership, but lost it thereafter as the UAE bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals.

For Sri Lanka, Dinesh Chandimal scored 50 runs off 39 balls, hitting 7 boundaries and a six.

For UAE, Amjad Javed and Mohammed Naveed were the pick of their bowlers, picking up 3 wickets each.
