Asian Games: Saina Nehwal loses to Tai Tzu Ying, settles for bronze

Jakarta, Aug 27 (IBNS): Losing to Taiwan's Tai Tzu Ying in the semifinal, Indian star badminton player Saina Nehwal settled for a bronze medal on the ninth day of the Asian Games 2018 on Monday.

Saina won the medal in women's single.

The 28-year old player lost to her Taiwanese competitor 17-21, 14-21.

India are presently at the ninth spot with a tally of 36 medals.
