Ashu (67 kg) beat Syria's Abdulkarim Mohammad Al-Hasan 8-1 while Kundu (72 kg) defeated Nao Kusaka of Japan 8-0 inside one and a half minutes in a lop-sided 72 Kg bronze medal bout.

India’s Hardeep (97 kg), meanwhile, earned the third and final bronze medal of the day by defeating Kyrgyzstan’s Beksultan Makhmudov 3-1.

India now has five medals that includes one Gold and four Bronze medals in the Asian Wrestling Championships 2020 in the Greco Roman category bettering their performance from the last Asian meet.
