Atletico Madrid signs Argentine goalkeeper Axel Werner

Madrid, Aug 20 (IBNS): Atletico Madrid football club on Saturday announced that it has reached an agreement with Atlético Rafaela for the transfer of Axel Werner.

He has signed a contract for five seasons.

"The transfer of the young Argentinian goalkeeper was completed last night and the keeper has signed a contract for five seasons, which will link him to our club until 30th June, 2021," read the club website.

"Atlético de Madrid and Boca Juniors have also signed an agreement for the goalkeeper to play loaned in the Xeneize team this season,"it said.
