Sydney, Mar 26 (IBNS): Australian opener Aaron Finch and Steve Smith have stabilised the innings after losing the wicket of David Warner early as the team scored 82 runs for the loss of a wicket after 15 overs in the second semi-final of the World Cup here on Thursday.

Steve Smith (43*) and Finch  (23*) are currently at the crease as Indian bowlers toiled hard to get their second wicket in the crucial clash.

Umesh Yadav has picked up the wicket of Australian opener David Warner (12).

Australia earlier won the toss and opted to bat first in the match.
