I sincerely thank AFC and AIFF for letting us be a part of the Conference and I am confident that under their guidance we will be able to serve the purpose,” he said.

Furthermore, Arumugam felt that with the rapid growth of Indian Football, a Medical Center of Excellence should be put in place to meet the needs of the Players.

“Football is getting bigger by the day in India. ISL (Hero Indian Super League) is such a grand success and with the FIFA U-17 FIFA World Cup coming up in 2017, I feel we should have a Medical Centre to meet the standards.”

Earlier in the day, Dato Dr. Guru Chaired a Meeting to form the joint Working Committee to ensure successful organization of the forthcoming Conference in April 2015.
