Bangalore, Sept 22 (IBNS) Skipper MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK)registered a 54-run victory over Dolphins in a Champions League T20 match here on Monday.

Posting a massive 242 for six on the scoreboard, Chennai bowlers then restricted Dolphins to  188.

CSK dominated the game completely and the bowlers picked up wickets at regulat intervals to keep  the pressure on the opponents.

Cody Chetty was the top scorer for the side with his 38.

Mohit Sharma  was the pick of the CSK bowlers as he picked up four wickets by giving away 41 runs top destroy the opponent team.

Earlier, CSK had posted a massive total on  the scoreboard and the rest of the task was completed by the bowlers.

Suresh Raina was impressive in his 43-ball 90 where he smashed eight over-boundaries and four boundaries.

Brendon McCullum contributed a quick-fire 29-ball 49 that helped in setting the tempo of the innings at the beginning.

Raina was the main force behind CSK's win today as it was his knock which helped the side in crafting a huge total in the match.

Robbie Frylinck picked up two wickets for CSK.
