Cardiff, Jun 1 (IBNS): With an all-round performance, New Zealand earned a comprehensive victory against Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the Cricket World Cup 2019 at Sophia Gardens here on Saturday.

Batting first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 136.

Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne remained the only shining point in the batting lineup as he added unbeaten 52 runs with his willow.

Apart from him, the remaining of the Sri Lankan batting lineup failed to shine.

Ferguson and Henry picked up three wickets each as they destroyed the Asian team's batting lineup, just a day after Pakistan completely surrendered infront of the spirited West Indies men.

The Kiwis scored the required runs in just 16.1 overs. Martin Guptill and Colin Munro scored unbeaten 73 and 58 respectively.
