Delhi Dynamos announce pre-season schedule

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS): As a part of their Pre-season campaign Delhi Dynamos is set to take Sweden by the storm as they will be traveling with their full squad to the Scandinavian paradise.

The team will also play three friendly games with one of the best Swedish sides so as to condition themselves for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League.  

Delhi Dynamos will also be the first Indian football club to play against a top tier European team.
 
Football is the most popular sport in Sweden, with over 240,000 licensed players and the same amount of Youth Players. Sweden has constantly been producing players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is currently playing for Paris-Saint Germain FC, and teams that have made a mark in the footballing world and created history many times like Malmo FF. This makes Sweden the perfect location for Delhi Dynamos to acclimatize and prepare themselves.

Delhi Dynamos family will reach Sweden on 31st August. The Indian players will be landing in Landvetter Airport at11:35 PM. Marquee manager and player Roberto Carlos, Assistant Manager Walmir da Cruz, Goalkeeping coach Leandro Franco along with players like Gustavo Marmentini and Chicao will be arriving together in Landvetter Airport at5:30 PM. (CET)

The other marquee players like Florent Malouda and John Arne Riise will also be joining the team on the same day at night, adding more power to the squad.

The trip to Sweden has been proudly sponsored by Kshatriya Sports AB, Gothenburg Komun and Kviberg Hotel, Holmgren Bil AB and Sohlbergs Buss AB.

The Delhi Dynamos' team will stay at Kviberg Park Hotel in Gothenburg and their first training session will start on 1st September in the morning.
