'Elated and very grateful': Actor R Madhavan shares his son Vedant's success with 5 golds in Malaysia

Actor R Madhavan is filled with pride and joy over his son Vedaant’s massive success with five gold medals in swimming at the Malaysian Invitational Age Group Championships.

Sharing the happy news Madhavan, the father, posted his son's image on Instagram and wrote that "With God's grace and all your good wishes, Vedaant gets 5 golds for India (50 m, 100m, 200m, 400 m, and 1500m) with 2 PB's at the Malaysian invitational age group championships, 2023, held this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. I am elated and very grateful."

Soon after R Madhavan shared his son Vedaant Madhavan's success in winning five gold medals at the Malaysian invitational age group championships, his colleagues, admirers, and supporters rushed to the comment section to offer their congratulations.

Vedaant has been performing exceptionally well for the last few years and has achieved numerous medals and accolades in various prestigious tournaments.

In February of this year, Vedaant participated in the Khelo India 2023 tournament representing Team Maharashtra and won three gold medals (in 100m, 200m, and 150m categories) and two silver medals (in 400m and 800m categories).

Last July, he also set a national junior swimming record in the 1500-meter freestyle swimming competition and won the event at the 48th Junior National Aquatic Championships.
